The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a reminder to all schools regarding the importance of submitting correct data in the List of Candidates (LOC) for the academic year 2023-24. The letter, dated September 20, 2023, states that there will be no extension of the last date for filling up correct information/data at the time of submission of LOC. This is the fourth reminder issued by CBSE on this issue, and schools are expected to take it seriously and complete their LOC correctly and timely.

The CBSE has directed all schools to complete their submission of the LOC for class X and XII without waiting for the last date, which is September 28, 2023. The LOC Notification No. CBSE/LOC/2023-24/dated 17/08/2023 should be read meticulously before filling up candidates information. Staff engaged in filling up details should also be made aware of all the guidelines laid down in the circular to avoid mistakes. Parents may also be briefed about the importance of correct data and the consequences if the wrong data is submitted. Subject correction after submission of LOC will not be entertained in any manner.

It is important to note that no window for correction in the uploaded data will be made available. Uploading correct data is the responsibility of the school concerned. Hence, schools must ensure that the data is correct before its submission to the Board to meet out deadlines without fail.

The CBSE has emphasized the importance of submitting correct data in the LOC, and schools must take this seriously. Incorrect data can lead to various issues, such as incorrect admit cards, incorrect results, and even legal issues. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that the data submitted is accurate and up-to-date.

The CBSE has also extended the last date for submitting LOC forms for Class 12 to September 28, 2023, without a late fee. With late fees, LOC forms can be submitted from September 29 to October 5, 2023. Schools are required to fill out the forms with the information submitted by the students. For regular candidates, the registration can be done only through CBSE-affiliated schools, and online applications are not permitted. Candidates are also required to submit their registration fees to their respective schools only.

  1. Dear sir/ ma’am
We have successfully filled and submitted the google form on 23rd September and submitted the same and forwarded the filled form by mail. The hard copy of the fixation form has been sent to Ajmer office

  2. Since we are newly affiliated school, so only class 9 and 11 students are there, but we are not able to register in Registration portal and hp portal. It’s showing invalid credentials. With same ID and password we are able to open OASIS.
