Extension of Last Date for Submission of Registration Data of Class IX/XI, 2023-24

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the deadline for submission of registration data for Class IX and Class XI students for the 2023-24 academic session. This decision was made after considering various representations received from schools. The new schedule for submission of registration data is as follows:

• Without late fee: Till 10.11.2023 (Friday) for the date of finalization of fee data +4 days, and from 11.11.2023 (Saturday) to 18.11.2023 (Saturday) for the date of finalization of data +4 days.
• With late fee: After 18.11.2023 (Saturday) for the date of finalization of data +4 days.

It is important to note that all other instructions as given in Circular CBSE/REGN/2023-24/2023 dated 12/09/2023 will remain the same to follow.

This extension of the deadline for submission of registration data will provide relief to schools and students who were facing difficulties in adhering to the earlier deadline. It will also ensure that all students who wish to appear for the Class IX and Class XI exams in the 2023-24 academic session are able to do so without any hindrance.

Schools are requested to plan timely submission of data of the candidates as submission of the registration data by adhering to the schedule is very important. It is also important that the data filled in is absolutely correct. After submission of registration data, no request for change of subject, admission in Classes IX and XI (except on transfer cases), and concessions for differently-abled candidates will be entertained.

In conclusion, the extension of the deadline for submission of registration data for Class IX and Class XI students for the 2023-24 academic session is a welcome move by the CBSE. It will provide relief to schools and students who were facing difficulties in adhering to the earlier deadline and ensure that all students who wish to appear for the Class IX and Class XI exams in the 2023-24 academic session are able to do so without any hindrance.
